What is scar Resurfacing?

This treatment is a great option for those scars that have hyperpigmentation or texture. By using a specialized serum,  we are able to penetrate the scar tissue. Removing existing layers of scar tissue with each session; we are able to help the scar tissue heal in a more uniformed way making it less noticeable & lighter by removing hyperpigmentation.

Scars need to be at least 1 year old to be treated.

Multiple sessions may be required to reach desired results.

How long is the procedure?

The appointment is for 1 hour of treatment.

Is the procedure painful?

Pain tolerance varies from person-to-person. Some scars, especially surgical scars, usually have become numb from damaged nerves. If you wished to be numbed during the procedure, I recommend clients purchase  (Ebanel NUMB520) or any other lidocaine numbing cream with atleast 5% lidocaine. You can find these products on Amazon. It's recommended that you numb the area of the procedure at least 1 hour prior to appointment. Put on a thick layer and wrap with cling wrap. Leave on until you arrive for best results.

What is the healing process?

Healing time for Scar Resurfacing is between 4-8 weeks on average. Treated area will be red and swollen after treatment. They will soon become itchy and dry. Do not scratch or pick scabs.

Clients can see anywhere from 20% to 90% improvement. Multiple sessions may be required to reach desired results.
